As an adult LOVE them but I buy froze veggies. I ate a whole box of sugar snapped peas minus three spoonfuls last night for dinner.

Nobody's mentioned squash or fresh asparagus! Hated both of them. I'd even gag on squash. It was one of only two things my parents would allow me not to eat. I had to eat everything else that was served. But I like them now! (Thanks, Mom!)

Funny though, now that I'm old and a bit, ummm, large, she tells me not to eat any because organ meat is horrible for you!! Thanks a lot Mom!!!

I've never ate any kind of fish or seafood. The smell of it cooking will turn my stomach. My mom has always been on my side about this since she won't eat fish etc. either. I still remember the go-around she had with my elementary school principal when he tried to enforce the ''clean your plate'' rule at school lunchtime!! It was not pretty!![]()
Most of the things I didn't eat as a kid, I still don't eat, like fish, liver, beets, okra, oysters. I would have to be stranded on a deserted island and fighting to survive in order to eat any of those. There are a couple of exceptions, things I tolerate, don't love. Mushrooms, and spinach are two, but they have to be part of the dish like, pasta or pizza. I now like cooked carrots, but can't eat, due to diabetes. And onions, I'll eat them on just about anything. I even try to convince others how good they are and to try them. Onions turn sweet as you cook them, so if your an onion hater as I was, start off eating cooked ones first. Then gradually add in the raw. Interesting topic, we should do more of these for fun.

Mine is sour cream. I NEVER ate it as a kid.. ugh thought it was sick.
Now? I wont even touch a taco/burrito/plate of nachos without a healthy (um?) helping of sour cream.. especially the thicker stuff you get at authentic mex places.. DELISH!!!

I didn't like broccoli, brussel sprouts, any type of seafood, lima beans, spinach, sour cream, Fig Newtons and Malted Milk (like Whoppers candy).
I still hate lima beans. I won't touch Fig Newtons because they have an, uh, adverse effect on me.To this day just the smell of malted milk will make me gag.
Any Whoppers the kids got last night were all thrown out!
All the rest I now eat and love especially broccoli, spinach and lobstah!
