Shelley, trust me from a lot of experience. Drs do not know everything. Cancer is a very tricky disease. Those who prognosis of grim are 10 year survivors. Cancer is different for every patient. So while, patient A reacts one way, patient B reacts differently. The change of diagnosis tells me these doctors can not make a true terminal prognosis. The best they should do right now is place him at Stage four and run the gambit of chemo and radiation. THere is no way they can tell him that none of these treatments will work at this point.
