 I can't believe it!
I've read all the horror stories on HCW about losing binders and leaving them in carts but I "never thought it would happen to me". And guess what? ....... IT DIDN'T! I THREW mine away!!!
I take my coupons with me when I go pick up my kids from school to organize and file them. Well I've been out of the coupon loop for the summer and had it sitting in my drawer full of coupons. I brought it out and dusted it off. I used all my 9/30/09 right before they expired and threw everything old away.
I took the inserts I didn't cut and the binder itself and put it in a plastic bag. I put it in the laundry room (I pass it going to the car) cause I was too lazy at the time to walk threw and into the garage.
Well, I asked my boys to throw away the garbage and tell them all the plastic bags. I thought (7yr and 5 yr) my kids would know I wouldn't place GARBAGE on top of the washer machine. Well.... they didn't. It's not their faults, this I know but my boys were so sad when they saw me upset.
Bottom line they got thrown out and it's the worst feeling :sad:
My husband kinda understands but he's like "they always make more coupons"!
Most of all they are now decompsing on a garbage hill somewhere and NO ONE is getting any use out of them. I'm just gonna miss my free laundry detergent q's I had that were good for the next 2 years! Do you know how much that is? Of course you do, your the only ones that understand!
