Someone please help me I am freaking out!! re: spiders Pic added see post #15

Ok I am really freaking out! The past couple of days I have noticed a few spiders in the house.....which I rarely see. I killed them and went on with my life. Well today .....today has been the spider day from you know where!!! I have killed a total of 11 spiders in my house today!! I dont understand it. They all look the same....brown (I hope they arent brown recluse) about the size of a quarter. I have found them in every room except my little boys room (oh I hope they stay out of there!). I thought well maybe a spider had babies...but why would they be in all rooms? I also went outside this afternoon and my entire patio was covered in spider webs. And I saw several spiders near the house outside.
I really am a clean person! I have never had spiders before. And I hate them!!! Someone please help me!!
I feel itchy all over!!

By the way, I did spray outside and a few places inside with a pest spray.

You should go to Walmart, and buy the glue traps. We used to have a spider problem, and for some reason they love the smell of those glue traps. It was also nice to look a little more closely at them after they were dead. We had several brown recluses- which was very scary! Anyways, the glue traps are in the bug spray area. They are fairly inexpensive, and bugs love them!

EWW. no advice but you have my sympathy. i hate spiders. I would sell the house and move (can you tell i really hate spiders? LOL)

It was just on our local news tonight that more people are getting bit by spiders. Spiders are worse in the fall than winter for some reason. I would call and have someone come out and spray. Brown Recluse bites are terrible. My x..Daughter-in-law got bit by one on the back when she was about 12 years old( spider got in her sweater in the closet) She had to take a lot of shots for a good while and it left a big place on her back. She said it hurt like crazy. I'd be scared to death if I found that many in my house. I'd call someone right away since you have a little one in the house. It scares me just to think about spiders.

I am so scared of spiders that I can't even kill them. I can't even pick them up off the floor if they were already dead. That is how bad my phobia is. However, here in San Diego, there was an article on the news about how the Black Widow has a cousin, the Brown Widow. The Brown Widow is just as deadly and they multiply like crazy. The people on the news said their back yard was just covered in them. Hopefully that isn't what you have. I would call an exterminator to have them come out.

I am with you.....I am afraid that they aren't really dead and will seek revenge!LOL! Rediculous I know, but that is really how I feel. They terrify me. The other day I saw a spider on my mailbox that was a little bigger than a quarter that looked like a mini tarantula with big hairy legs. I live in MI and we don't have those here...at least I hope not. I had the creepies for awhile after that. I have never seen a spider like that here. I wonder what kind it was and hope they aren't too common.

Dliver, I am so sorry for you and I hope you find an easy solution to this problem. Wish I had some good advice.

We regularly get spiders in our house. Not because we are not clean, but based on where we live. We have a bug company that routinely sprays our house and they garuntee everything but termites and spiders. It seems spiders don't clean themselves like other bugs (not that I have ever seen another bug clean themself) so they do not ingest the poison.
I would try the traps (though I have never used them) and try to get rid of all the webs (ie - get your husband to get rid of them). Wish I had better advice!!!

My husband was bit by a brown recluse. He had to endure 20 shots which encircled the venom. I felt so bad for him.

We've killed numerous spiders. We see them in fall and spring as the seasons change.
