Default ecrater - an alternative to ebay!

Tired of paying ebay listing fees? THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES! As a former ebay seller, I just wanted to share an alternative that might give some of you a boost in your sales as we get closer to the holidays. NO, IM NOT SELLING ANYTHING!!!

There is a site where you can:

-Build your own store front (a real store front in which your own domain name can point to your store)
-List as many products as you like and those listings never expire, never have to be renewed or reposted or deleted until the item sells or the product changes (yes, just like a real store)
-Break your store down into as many categories and sub categories as you choose
-NEVER EVER have to pay a listing fee or listing commission or any portion of your profits to anyone EVER....did I say ever?
-Post up to 10 photos of your items for each listing AGAIN for FREE
-Put as many words as you want in your listing FREE
    -Accepts paypal and google checkout
    -Calculates Shipping
    -Offers international order capabilities
-TOTALLY 100% FREE (I know, but I cant stress that enough)

Alright, so why do I care? Well I dont really except that I used to trade on ebay and just got sick of paying their ever increasing fees, but also got tired of having to repost items over and over and I would like to share my experience with others.

    The site is www.ecrater.com
I have no affiliation with them other than the fact that I had a store there when I had my online retail business (just no time for the online business anymore).

Here are some things that I loved about having this storefront...

Aside from the obvious points above, I was able to write up my product descriptions in Word format, cpoy and paste them in my ecrater store with all of the photos for that product and let them sit until they sold (on one site or another) which was a better running inventory database than any other I had. Whats nice is that once you have all your items in your online store, you can then just copy and paste those item descriptions right into an ebay listing template (or overstock or wherever), and save yourself a lot of typing and re-typing.

It doesnt matter if you still want to list on ebay or where else you do your listings, this is one other source that you will have to gain exposure and the more of you that set up a store there, the more the traffic will grow on ecrater and eventually stop the monopolization of ebay as an online marketplace that overcharges its sellers. Your listings on ecrater will have no affect on your ebay business except that when an item sells on ebay, you will have to remember to delete it from your ecrater store inventory and vice versa.

The nice thing is that you can get your own domain name for your store and point it to your ecrater storefront and have a REAL web presence where people begin to recognize YOU as a resource and not the auction site you posted on.

Anyway, I just thought I would share this information....check out ecrater.com, you wont be disappointed and it might perhaps be the best money you never spent! Lets continue to build other sources outside of ebay and have some real options for a change!
