Would you open the door wearing just underwear?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. My dh installs cable, etc. He & his trainee went to a job yesterday, & the woman opened her door just wearing a tank top (no bra) & a pair of underwear. Her guy friend was just wearing boxers. Dh said they never put on any clothes & were very casual about it.

Me personally, I make sure my house is cleaned up & am fully dressed whenever a service person comes over. Has society gotten that relaxed or am I being a prude?

Nope, I feel the same way. I could never imagine opening up my door for anyone in just underwear.

I couldn't imagine it either. My son has been known to stay in his pj's all day, but he is 2 and I still dress him if someone is coming over.

The ONLY way I would open the door wearing just my underwear would be to scare someone away. I think that is wrong. I realize that is thier home and they can dress how they want but not only is it inappropriate it is just asking for trouble IMHO.

Knowing that a service person(or any company) was coming I think one should be dressed. However I have opened the door in my pj's and a couple of time in a towel. This was because the "company" was banging down the door and all have happened after 10pm. I think that is overly rude.

OP i agree w/ ya. I do the very same things. I would never be caught nakie at the door. My brother in law worked for a pest control company for over 10 years and he said you would not beleive the things he saw.

People Nakie, people 1/2 way dressed, people caught in the act, people still doing the act, people leaving there personal play items around.

Just one time. I was sick, sick and called a male friend of my husband's (who was out of town at the time) to please bring me some Pepto Bismol. I opened the door in a waist-length t-shirt and underwear.

DH delivers pizza part time & he's told me about women who will answer the door buck-naked! Sheesh!

I've answered the door in a towel before... but that is because someone JUST showed up.

My little sister, she is 18, she will answer the door in a tank and underwear. NO MODESTY!
