Most of the time, I will get dressed and the house will be picked up.

However, there are a few friends that I have if they come over I will certainly open the door in my PJs ( generally a bra and a skirt.. don't ask. ) I don't really mind and neither do they. Alternatively, they also open the door in their Pjs and when their house is lookin all icky. It happens.

No way...no how!! Even if I knew for a fact that the person was blind!! I mean...you never know when divine intervention will take place! If the first thing they ever saw was me in my undies, they'd probably wish they were blind again!!

If I know someone is coming over, I'm dressed and the house is clean...even if it's just a repairman or delivery person. If someone knocks, and I'm in my jammies...they can call me or come back later. I wouldn't feel comfortable.

Why were there so many maggots and roaches in that one house? Did he do the job anyway? And same question for the dog poo job. Those sound like major sanitary hazardous situations!

Oh, and re the thread title question, maybe if it was certain friends or family, but not in that situation, cable guy, total stranger, nope, not answering door in just underwear! That situation sounds like the start of a porn plot... maybe those customers have watched too much porn in their lives! LOL.

I'm a process server (serve court papers) and went to a million dollar house to serve the president of a company. He came to the door buck-naked and without his toupe! He didn't open the door all the way but I saw a naked hip as he pulled the door. The lawyer I was working for thought it was a hoot that he doesn't wear his hair in the house.

Once, I was serving a paper and a teenage kid answered the door. I told him I wanted to see his mother. He stood aside, as if inviting me in, and pointed down the hallway. I walked right into the bedroom, woman and boyfriend both in bed, and served her a**. She was so shocked that she didn't say anything. I retreated as quickly as possible, thinking there might be a bullet headed toward me.

I can't say I've seen it all, but, I've seen some!

Hehehe. Try working in a hotel and delivering room service! You don't want to know about some of the people and things I've seen!

I've had to tell men to put clothes on when they've answered the door either fully or partially naked. I WILL NOT go inside a room when there is a man naked. Geez people, YOU called room service! YOU knew I was coming up! So don't answer the door naked and act all surprised!

As for myself, I am always either fully dressed or have a full length robe on when I answer the door.
