I had to put my dog down on Friday and am quite sad this week. Every time I get distracted and stop thinking about him one of my DS's does something that makes me want to cry. Like last night at dinner DS (2) heard one of our forks clank against the bowl and thought it was the sound of Max tapping his nails on the sliding glass door to be let in. And at age 2 he just doesn't understand that Max isn't with us anymore. That sent DH into tears and me trying to convince DS that it wasn't Max. DS (4) has a bit better grasp on the concept and tries to tell his little bro what is going on and that confuses DS (2) worse.

Does anyone have any funny pet stories that they want to share. I am trying my hardest to remember Max during the good times since Friday was a very hard day seeing him unable to do much until DH could get off work and go to the vet with me.
