Yes, I got the vaccines.
I don't understand you reasoning for screaming about an optional vaccine that could help people.
There is NO LOGIC to it!

| Re: Swine Flu Vaccine - Will you get it? Umm yea, its a whole new world out there right now, scary, WAAAAAY different than it used to be, but like I said hopefully someday you will wake up and smell the roses. The vaccinations then were to help to not get sick, I'm not so sure on the vaccination these days, or this one anyway.
Our government right now does not want this many people, there is too many of us, if this new socialized medicine gets in, this is just ONE of the many ways of getting rid of people, the elderly for example. But like I said this is a whole new topic. This thread is about the swine flue.

WHy don't you come over to the other thread and show us where they are getting rid of old people!
I am begging you to show me proof. Can you?
My grandfather said that in France they let people die to have population control!
Old people live like 5 years longer there!

Does anyone wonder how many of the people that died from the swine flu had the shot? READ all the post in here, I am not the only one thinking this way.

Of course Doctors want you to get it, they want the money!! |

Yes, things are different from the 1960s. People crippled, put into iron lungs and wheelchairs because of the lovely effects of polio? Yeah, those vaccinations are just BAD BAD BAD!! Why would we have ever wanted to stop that?!
You need to "wake up and smell the roses." If you think that vaccinations are these huge moneymakers for doctors, you're quite ill informed. The reimbursement rate is dismal, and quite a few practices don't keep stock on hand because they lose quite a bit of money by doing so.
And for the record, honey, you're not that bright if you're implying that the swine flu vaccine is responsible for deaths that have been attributed to swine flu because quite frankly, the vaccine in still in development and testing--and has not been administered outside of the recently started clinical trials.
Get your facts straight before you go spouting off at the mouth. It makes your look very ignorant. |

| Re: Swine Flu Vaccine - Will you get it? To the original question: yes, everyone in my household, child and adults, will definitely get both vaccines (all three injections), absolutely as soon as possible after distribution begins.
I don't know any of the players in the argument above but I can't resist commenting: I am a Federal Gov't employee working in the healthcare education field (in immunization). Sadly, I am familiar with the devastation caused by influenza every year, so I take flu shots and other scientifically-proven preventive measures very seriously. I am also relatively well-educated on flu pandemics, and on this year's swine flu in specific -- and I am taking it very seriously, too. It will be back in the news here in the US soon, I can promise you that!
Important note: the Government is neither developing nor selling regular flu vaccine, or swine flu vaccine. The Government is not requiring anyone (except special cases, such as certain military folks or Gov't-employed lab workers, etc., whose jobs require vaccination) to be vaccinated. All the Government is doing related to flu and swine flu is collecting and sharing information, including suggested steps one can take to protect oneself to the best of one's ability. (And, of course, the Gov't will ultimately pay much of the health cost for uninsured or underinsured people who choose to remain at risk and become sick or die - but that's another issue.) It's entirely up to each and every person to decide whether or not to be vaccinated, preferably with guidance from his/her healthcare provider. No one is forcing it on you.
And hey -- there's an upside for me to someone else choosing not to be vaccinated: if you don't get the vaccine, that leaves more vaccine to go around for me and my family! (and, since we'll be protected by the vaccine, we won't be able to catch the viruses from you when you get them.) |

Do you apply this philosophy to all medicine? Chemo, polio shots, antibiotics, etc...
