Swine Flu Vaccine - Will you get it?

No on either .Only had the flu shot once but felt a little funny afterwards .So I'll just try and up vitamin c and zinc

The swine flu shot will not be made to the general public at first. Those at highest risk, care takers, and children will receive first.

I am eligible and so is my son. I am on the fence. DH is the only one who go outs on a regular basis for work. He would be the one to bring it in the house.

We are trying to finish all doctor and dentists appointments before mid-fall.

I'm just concerned about it this year with my kids being in Pre-school. If they weren't going to pre-school. I don't think I would get them either shot.

I'm not going to bother with the swine flu, but I will get the regular flu shot. I hate shots period, so the less the better. I have gotten a flu shot every year since I've been in the army. Well, they give the nasal stuff, which I can't stand. Emphasis on I will be getting the SHOT, lol. Last year, the first year for no army for me, I didn't get the flu shot and spent the whole winter being sick and not having the insurance or money to go to the doctor to see if I had the flu or not. Ugh, miserable winter. Makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

DF will be getting it since he is a seasonal driver at UPS and will be coming in to contact with all sorts of people. He might not know it yet, but he is, lol.

As of right now we won't be getting either. We have no insurance and we've never gotten a regular flu shot.

I'll be looking more into the swine flu shot before getting it, but I will say that my cousin's pulmonologist told her that she needs to get both the regular flu shot and the swine flu shot. DD has a well check soon, and I will be consulting with her pediatrician about it. She is at a higher risk for major health problems relating to flus and colds and other assorted everyday illnesses because she has some heart issues. I have gotten the flu shot every year for at least 10 years, but DH has never had it.

I will be getting both.... after having lung cancer and a bout of Medication Resistant Staphylococcal cost me my left lung....I am more cautious with my health.....

I will definately not be getting either one. I hate shots with a passion and just take really good care of myself otherwise. I have never had a flu shot.

DH *might* get the shots this year. He works outside all year round and thus is quite vulnerable to the elements. It's up to him, IMO.
