anyone near Norfolk, VA navy base- help please

I have been doing searches through swagbucks of course , trying to find a hotel room.

I called one place , he said that they were at virginia beach 30 min from the base and you have to book 2 nights( no less) and rm are 176.00 per night.

I would like to find a rm less than 100.00 per night , I need one for the night before Father's day. MY son has to check in Father's day around 12 , then we are going to head back to nc.

then 13 days later ( July 3 ) go back and pick him up. That will be another night that we are staying.

head back the 4th of July and then my son will leave at 6:30 am for a 5 day training bootcamp.

can anyone help me with hotels or anything. I am sick of searches that don't show me anything.

you can try staying in newport news, its only 15 mins away from norfolk just beware the tunnel gets congested from 630 to 900am and 300 to 500pm its usualy allot more affordable. you could also try hwy 60 west towards williamsberg. good luck

These are right by the base, on Hampton Blvd. I do not know anything about the rates.

I did see last night while I was still searching through rooms that Best western has a thing when you sign up with them and use their rooms that you get pts. and then it is like swagbucks or a few others.
you trade you pts. in for a free night , or gc, or car rental and so on.
