Desperate...End of the year Teacher Gift

I just realized tomorrow it is my son's last day of preschool this year (he's not graduating...just finishing up a "school" year). I need something simple, but something original. I did the "we wisk you a merry kissmass" for Christmas and they were all stunned. None of them had ever gotten it before (how, I don't know...:shrug7:) Anyway...the standard has been set high and I don't want to disappoint.

Any suggestions/help would be GREATLY appreciated! I have to be able to put it together today/tonight. The last day is tomorrow. I have to be able to make 2.

I asked my MIL who is a preschool teacher aide. She gave me the following suggestions:
Starbucks gift card w/insulated mug
Barnes & Noble gift card
perenial - plants that come up every year
gift card to an ice cream place
make brownies or cookies and tie cloth napkin and add coffee or tea

DD just turned four and can write all her letters. So, I had her write in the card, "Thank You Love, her name". Then I stuck a $10 Starbucks gift card in it.

Brownies are always a good one, or a "Summer Therapy Pack" with candy, nuts, tea/coffee, book or magazine if you know their interests.

I'm in the same boat, but for a 3rd grade teacher who is allergic to chocolate and nuts.

The teachers at my daughters' pre-school all use clipboards. What about a clear clip board with scrapbook cut outs on the back so that they read through the right way put on with decoupage and some clear contact paper over the back to secure? Hope that makes sense! Should be easy and nifty and can be personalized any way you want.

I did this a few years ago and it was a hit. Get an inexpensive beach towel, a general magazine (Family Circle, Woman's Day, Rachael Ray, Oprah) and some spray in sunscreen. Tie all three together with some fancy ribbon and you're set!
