Dh & I are in New York City this week (by ourselves) and I would like some suggestions of things that are fun and cheap to do.

We will be having a tour of the city with a friend on Saturday, so I assume he's going to take us to the normal landmarks, but we have all day tomorrow to explore on our own.

We're staying on Staten Island, but figured we would take the ferry over tomorrow to the city and go from there.

I won't be on until late this evening, but thanks in advance for the ideas!
