It was nice enough weather today that we took a family walk. Can't wait til it warms up a lil bit more and we can take our lil girl to the park to actually play for the first time! And I get to go shopping to get all that sun-protection gear and shopping is always a good thing lol :)

I get excited by the smallest things lately. I just got a new cookbook. Taste of home. Well the recipes were great and i even got a card in the front for a free years subscription to the magazine.

I'm happy that my aunt (rrpate on here) ended up being a bone marrow match for my uncle (her brother) who has AML (acute myeloid leukemia). She is coming from Florida and will be arrive at U of M hospital tomorrow to start the process.

It's still early on Sunday morning, and I can already think of several things to be happy about.
I worked out 3 trades over the weekend!
My son and his family are coming over today for the Selection Sunday festivities!!
I've already made the cole slaw, and the pork for the pulled pork sandwiches is in the crockpot.
I cleaned yesterday, so I only have to cook today!
Because of this site, I can afford to feed 7 people tonight, for VERY little cash!!!
My husband is the sweetest man in the world...and he loves me!

I have two today:

My Dh fixed my car for a fraction of the price of a mechanic this week. It took a week and was really inconvieniant for that time, but my car has never run better. I'm so thankful he caught the problem before it became unsafe to drive and he could fix it.

I found an awesome deal on organic, free-range, air-chilled chicken--.99/lb (reg 4.99/lb+) because it was close to sell by date. I bought all they had. We had some for lunch today with a big salad and it was really delicious!

First off: LOVE this thread. I think you get more out of life if you think of the postive not whine about the negative.

For today:

Thrilled that my son who woke up an hour and half earlier than the rest of the house, got dressed made his bed and played Legos till I got up.
Both kids cleaned their rooms without much comments.
They played video games and turned it off when the timer rang without begging for more time. Now they are playing nicely together.

Now I am off to sort spring clothes for the consignment sale in two weeks.

Plus it finally stop raining!

1. I got a freezer today for FREE!! And I didn't even have a coupon! My dad had one sitting in his garage that hasn't been used for years and he gave it to me instead of selling it. Now, I just need a house to put it in.

2. There is absolutely lovely near 60 degree weather in Michigan today!! I walked my dog with jeans and a tshirt on and it was awesome!

3. My shopping trips this weekend have been amazing!

I'm really happy with my shopping trips today at Winn Dixie, WAG, and CVS.

The other day, I got a Shark steam mop that I love.

Our hall bathroom that's been unusable since we moved into our house a year ago is finally in the process of being remodeled. DH is almost done with the demo and soon he'll start putting it all back together. Yay!
