I was so excited today to get to meet Jkeltaten and her family while they were traveling in my area!!
Our daughters are penpals so we got them together for some fun time.

Her family is fantastic and meeting them was an absolute pleasure!!!

I know other threads have asked this, but its time for another one.

Who have you met from HCW either by accident or because you became friends here?

I have met Jane4girls, Tacatcon, Asweetheart, Dandjsmom and now jkelstaten.

All are people that I think are wonderful members on the board, and was very happy to find that their "real life" personalities are just as great if not better.

dandjsmom and I met over a CVS clearance bin last year by accident.

Who have you met? If no one, who would you LOVE to meet from HCW?

I know I personally would love to "do lunch" with Heidi, Julie and Lesley!

The only person I've met IRL from HCW is Susanktz - we had lunch one day, hopefully we can again if we can ever get our schedules coordinated. She is just a lovely person!

Am I the only one who thinks it is really just so cool that you make very good friends with "cyber peeps". Some of you all understand me and my crazy shopping and such than my "real life" friends and fam thats for sure!

ive been a member here for a while but just recently REALLY got into the site, especially since i started going into the chat room. i dont really have friends in real life lol (seriously, i have 1), but im ALWAYS online and its been so long since ive been happy to sign onto a site so i can chat with people!

Last month, I got to meet liane66. We have been PM'ing each other off and on for months. She first PM'ed me when I used to have a siggy from Bronte's Jane Eyre " Reader, I married him". She Pm'ed me saying Jane Eyre was her favourite novel too and thus began a friendship based on shared love of books and reading.

We decided to meet in DC, send eath other our photos, visited the Dutch galleries at National Gallery of Arts and then lunched at a fab resturent at a great discount( it being the DC restuarent week).
Since hubby and kids pciked me up, I was very happy to introduce my new friend to my family.

Kim,if you are reading this, I want you to know that the book you gifted me that day "The unholy book of mischief' is on my night stand and reminds me daily of your thoughtfulness and awesome company.

As to the person from HCW I want to meet most is derketcup, I want to test her on her ability to speak/understand Urdu plus she thinks my hubby is a hotie
