HUTC or Happy Under The Collar!

Okay after reading way too many post in the HUTC section I decided I needed to think about things that make me happy instead of getting depressed by reading post in the HUTC...anyone else happy out there? Join in with your thoughts!

I'm happy I have a family I love dearly, a job in this economy, good health, and much, much more!

I am happy that it's Friday and just a couple more hours till quitting time! LOL

And while I'm not against being in a relationship, I'm happy that being single means I don't have to worry about what to get someone and what (and when) I'll be getting for Valentine's Day... my mom did send me a sweet card, though! (FYI- there's a cute card and a surprise package on its way to her right now!)

Oh, and I'm happy about the same things msmerbear listed in her post too!

Come on everybody-- I know there are more folks out there that are happy today!!

the absolutely gorgeous day we had Wed. and yesterday (minus the wind)
my family (of course)
my sweet dog
my job and great boss
HCW friends and support
good friends

Sweet Memories.....of those who are no longer here. I have been thinking about my dad, grandmother and grandfather lately. So many smiles hidden in those memories. Such a good reminder to make memorable, happy memories for those I will leave behind.

i'm happy we have a roof over our heads & food on the table & for my 3 beautiful children & for the new man in my life (even if i did just lose my job this week)

I'm happy my kid has healthy relationships with her friends. I'm happy that even when it seems the ends won't meet, they always come together at the last minute.

And here's a fun story. I was driving along in my mommy-mobile AKA minivan, when an older grizzled (is that a word?) biker pulls up next to me at a loooong light. He caught my eye and I smiled and nodded. Then we were just sort of waiting when he revved up his bike and I laughed. We ended up having the funniest conversation through sign language! How cool is it to have conversations with perfect strangers at a traffic light?

Love my hubby, sons, cat, friends, and job. I am especially happy to have a GREAT church and group of women friends. and HCW, of course!!
