HELP Organizing a local trading group - help please

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for my question, so mods, please move if necessary. Thanks!

I'm organizing a group of couponers to get together and trade unwanted coupons. So far I have about 11 people and we will be meeting at our local library (they have free meeting rooms). I'm still unsure how to organize the logistics though. Has anyone organized or participated in a group like this? What are the "rules" and procedures? How often do you meet? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

Hi! I'ma starting a coupon group in NH too! Our first meeting is this sunday Feb 8 from 2 pm to 3pm or 4 pm, whenver you need to go. There are about 11 of us, too. I went to a gathering last year.
We all bought our coupons, our coupon holders/binders, scissors, our ISO list, a few munchies, and one of us had a laptop. We shared some sites we use for printing coupons, and our host had a list of the area stores and their policies, meaning does the store take double q's, IP, and other important notes.
We traded coupons, and our host showed us her stockpile!! It motivated all of us!!
Good luck! Have a great time!!

I haven't done this but I'm thinking you could also brainstorm ideas on other places to find coupons (check the dumpster diving thread for a lot of ideas, not just dumpsters), you could see if the library would let you put a "coupon trade" box out somewhere that people could just drop off and pick through, and then see if the gang has any other ideas on anything, maybe teaching a couponing class once in a while or something?

All the best, sounds like fun!
