    When my children were in junior high and high school, I would bring to school whatever they forgot that day. They were allowed one free delivery a month. If they forgot more often than once a month, they were given one chore (my choice) when they got home. It works... they don't forget too often.

    My oldest daughter has diagnosed ADD so she is always forgetting something. A counselor told me that having an extra set of books at home in case she forgets hers at school is actually a good idea, but my daughter may fall under a different category than yours since she is ADD.
