My goodness!!! Time really does fly!

I can't figure out where the time went...but my son's birthday is today. And he's 30!!

It's so strange!

It seems like not too long ago, I was folding those little corduroy pants. The ones that you only have to fold once, and they fit in your hand.

Then...someone blinked, and I was changing HIS son's diapers!

I was sitting in the bleachers, rooting for him at his Little League game.

Then...someone blinked, and I was freezing in the bleachers at HIS son's football game!

He was crying on my shoulder about a girl in high school, who broke his heart.

Then...someone blinked, and he was holding his own little baby girl, who melted his heart.

I still can't believe it's been 30 years!
I mean...I'm not old enough to have a kid that age!!!

So, for all of you with little ones....DON'T BLINK!!!!

Aww I know how you feel!!! My oldest will be 10 in a few weeks and youngest is 6. I feel like the years have passed so quickly. We cant have anymore children and my DH and I were out to dinner the other night and saw a little boy who looked about 1 1/2 and we both looked at each other and said "Remember when our kids were that small?!?".

Man do I hear ya! My son is only 7 and I can't get over how every week he looks bigger. I just had him...we just got home from the hospital...what's going on? I will tape my eyes open to make sure I don't miss a thing.

Time is flying fast for me and my DD is only 3 months old! She has already changed so much in the past few months it amazes me everyday! Makes me sad the days that I work knowing I'm away from my precious babygirl... No matter how many diapers I change, bottles fed, times I'm spit-up on in a day... I miss it *all* the 50+ hours per week that I'm away from her while at work! :(

My baby is now 16 and getting ready to drive. As soon as he turned 8 that's when it all went flying by - ever so quickly. Also, to put things in perspective for me - my mom passed away, she had just turned 72, and will be gone 8 years already in February - oh how I would love to have just one more moment of time with her. Cherish the time you have - which is NOW.
