LOL! I was shocked to read here that people get 5# bags of sugar for free to .$50! I am in NY (city) and $1.50 on sale and/or after coupon is the best price I have seen in this area. And it's not so much that I am "willing" to pay that, but that is the only option for cheap, so I have to pay that. I don't really use sugar myself, though. But sometimes I pick it up for my parents who use it for their coffee and occasional cooking.
