Buy sugar now, price going up

It's just my guess, but between now and Thanksgiving there should be lots of good prices on sugar.
Of course, if it gets all over the news about the futures of sugar, the price will go up just because someone wants to make money off the fear.

I just bought 30lbs at Kroger yesterday and I aleady had 25lbs on hand but I might grab one more bag just in case. We go through a lot of sugar making sweet tea and koolaid, about 25lbs every six weeks or so.

Winn Dixie had a great loss leader sale on it a few weeks ago. I didn't notice until it was too late. I'm hoping it will come around again with the holidays aka sugar season! Let's keep an eye out for each other to find some.

I'm holding my Domino's 50/1 hoping for a baking deal. We don't use that much sugar, but prices are just too volatile right now not to stock up.

I'm glad I got some of the 2lb boxes at A&P this week. With triples they were .39 each.

Ahile back I had coupons for $1 off Giant brand (any) and bought abunch of sugar on the mark-down cart for .12c a bag

There are/were some C&H printables for .35/1 or something like that. Some were on any , some were on brown/powdered. I just stocked up at Safeway (cheaper than FM this week) and have 35lbs. I prefer C&H because it's cane sugar. Store brands can be either cane or beet depending on who their supplier was at the time. And they don't tell you on the bags which it is.
