Interesting stories! I've never heard of these guys. I'll have to keep Google busy this evening. What's the scoop on Stephen Hawking?

He's an extremely intelligent world-renowned physicist who has done extensive research regarding space and most specifically black holes. While he was in college he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease but continued on with his studies eventually getting his doctorate. He's almost completely paralyzed at this point and "speaks" using computerized voice synthesizer that he controls by eye movement.

He shows up in a lot of the science channel shows.
