Default HELP! What do I wear to Small Claims court?

I am a stay at home mom and don't have much in the way of a nicer wardrobe (I never go anywhere nice). I have a pair of jeans (not sexy or anything, just regular jeans) and Polo Style shirts. I have ONE dress, it is black, v neck, 3/4 sleeves hits just below the knee, very simple.

We have small claims court and have to leave here at 8am 10-22 (tomorrow)...WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? I don't want to be overdressed. Husband can go business casual (he has an office job).

    Thanks for input.

If your options are between jeans and a dress, go dress. Jeans send the message that you don't respect the reason for you being there at court, i think. Better to err on the side of caution and all of that jazz.

Wear the dress. Be sure it isn't showing too much though (you referenced V neck)

Definitely advise something at least business casual.

Here it depends on what you would be going for. If it's an unpaid/late bill you won't even get in front of judge. Like I said this is the court here. Most people call the clerk and just say I do owe it and I need to set up monthly payments and then they don't even have to show up to court.
Good luck. If it's something else I would wear the dress. With maybe a sweater jacket type thing on as well if the V is too low.
