Default I need some tips on learning Spanish

I've had Spanish 101 (college) 3 yrs ago and I got through the class with a C. I'm in Spanish 101 again as a review and have to take Spanish 102 in the Spring.

Each time I've had a very hard time learning the language because it goes so fast that I can't get my head wrapped around it.

    Any tips to help me?

    TIA

My best advice is to find someone to practice with.

Using the translation software online might translate the words, but I don't think they actually put them in the right order to be grammatically correct. Also, it won't help you learn the language.

I personally think that it is a lot easier if you can hear it. Of course I learned to speak spanish a looooong time before I ever learned to read or write it.

I hear that watching telenovelas on Univision can help too.

You can take some movies from the library and play them in spanish.
Movies like Barney and other childrens movies will help you learning in a natural way. You can even watch them with your kids!(if you have any)
