LOL...reminds me of what I though when I met DH's Dad and Uncles. DH is 5'10" and Im 5'2"...but his relatives are all taller (6'2" and up).
When I was introduced to them and hugged them, I was hugging their waists like a child, LOL...I remember thinking that I was so glad DH was the runt and wasnt that tall.

You made my laugh because one of my friends from years ago was 4'11 and 1/2 like you and I would say she was 4'11 and she would say NO I AM 4'11 and a HALF and emphasize it like it was a huge difference. I have a daughter that might be smaller and I think she is so cute. She on the other hand wants to be 6 ft or so. lol Guess why.....she said you can weigh more and look slimmer. She is only 10, what is she thinking? But she is right.

LOL exactly how I feel. I am 5'6 also and am starting to feel short. My son has passed up me and my husband. My husband is 5'11 and our son is about 6'2 or so and wears a 14 shoe! He is 17 so he is STILL growing! My 13 yr. DD is almost 14 and she is only 3 inches shorter than me. She grew 2 inches this summer! I might be the "runt" of the family here pretty soon. Well my youngest is 10 and only 4'8 but that could change.
