5'10" here...always the tall bean pole with the high-waters in school...back then there was one standard pant length and it was always 2-3" too short for me (I'm all legs). I used to envy "short" kids that had to hem their pants...you can always shorten something, but you can't always make it longer!

My DH is 6'2" - took a while to find someone taller than me - seems like all the TALL guys (6'2" +) liked the "little" girls (5'6" and under)???

Don't mind not wearing high heels...I'm a sandals kinda girl too...finally realized that GUY jeans fit perfect (short rise and customizable lengths) haven't bought a pair of "girl" jeans in over 15 years.

DD will NOT have that problem - she's 14 months and TALL with HUGE feet, but I guarantee you, her pants will ALL be LONG!!!! ;)

I am 5'3" and wear a size 8 shoe. I am long legged - the good thing is I don't have to hem pants - the bad thing is that I have no torso. My DH is average height (5'10") but my DS is the second tallest in his class. He just turned 10 and is almost as tall as I am.
