I just recently transfered to another college, and all my credits transfered, except my 2-D Design class, which was the last class I needed in order to graduate with my Associates.
I filed a petition to get that class' hours accepted so I could graduate.
Along with the petition I stapled the T.A.I.L. guide which is the transfer equivalency guide for all colleges and it showed that my 2-D Design class was the equivalent of the 2-D/3-D Design class, that the college said I needed to take in order to graduate, and to make the long story short.
They accepted the petition and gave me credit for my hours so now I'm graduating with my Associates in Art! Woohoo!
P.S. I already have a B.A. in Criminal Justice so this new degree will be icing on the cake.
P.P.S. Now I'm going to go to a tech school to get my paralegal certificate.
Hopefully this will mean good money.
