The cops were all over my yard

Yep they were.

They were looking for a suspect and had him cornered in the square I live in. They searched my entire yard including my back storage building, 2 cars and my storm cellar. The had cops at every corner and cops walking around all the yards. They got the blood hound out (beautiful dog) and he was sniffing him out.

They got him but he was a couple miles away. He apparently got a ride out of the neighborhood and they missed it. He was found at the local Rec department, laying on a table, drunk.

It was rather exciting but I would have liked to hear the dog barking at him and see the cops tackle him to the ground..LOL

LOL! This reminds me of a girl I worked with. She called in one day and told my boss, she'd be late because there were "green men" all over her yard. Oookay... She later called back and explained that (she lives near the Army base) and they had M.P.s out in force looking for some guy who'd started some kinda trouble. She said it was way exciting but scary too. BTW, She's never lived down the "green men"
