My quilt is in the Minnesota State Fair!

The quilt in my avatar, and in my photo album is hanging at the Mn State Fair.
It's not a ribbon winner but it's hanging with the Ribbon Winners! Woo Hoo!

I knew it would not win a ribbon...I sewed the thing in just a few months so it wasn't done perfectly.

At first I couldn't find it, I didn't even think of looking where they hung those quilts. Then my SIL said it where it was and that there's a crowd of people around it.

They hung it so that part of the back is showing so people can read my label, which is a little story about getting it done.

It was totally awesome to stand back and watch other people read the story and then talk about it.

I am so PROUD for you! What an accomplishment! Just think--your handiwork will be seen by people from all over your state, nation, even the world! And, hopefully, this quilt will inspire others to use their talents (and fabric scraps) to beautify their surroundings!
