Well, I had to vote option 1, but I am glad the one closest to me isn't closing! I do think there are way too many of them though. And most of the time the local coffees shops make way better coffee, IMHO.
Considering that Starbucks is literally on every other corner in DC, I'm sure we won't miss the one that is closing....lol. In someplaces there are multiple ones in the same shopping center.
I only visit for my "treat" once a week (sometimes less) when I do my grocery shopping. I know how to make the drinks myself, but somehow just never get around to it.
I live Near Davenport, IA and 2 new locations just opened in the last year, and 3 others are closing. Ridiculous! Does Davenport really need that many Starbucks??
I dont like coffee, so this really doesn pertain to me.
The one that they just built and opened, May I do believe, is not listed as one to close. I love to get a Frappacino as a "treat" every so often but I dont go there all the time. I wonder if the one's in Krogers are going to be closing? MMMMM Oh well
Living in Northern VA, there are tons & tons of Starbucks. But in our little town (which is starting to become a bedroom community for the DC area) we got 2 Starbucks in the last year. They opened about 6 months apart from each other and 1 is on the list to close!!!
We don't drink Starbucks - don't really like it and it's way too expensive - so we aren't too sad to see one of them leave.
