am I understanding this correct that you made the concrete walls since the yard is on a slope? and so by building the walls and adding fill you now have more workable yard? is that right?

want to mail me some blueberries?

Yes, you would understand right. By doing the concrete, we were able to capture about 3000sqft of usable yard.

Your yard looks beautiful and love the edible landscape design.
Interestingly enough I just read an article about replacing front lawns with gardens in urban areas.

I had already planned to plant a lot of fruit trees and bushes at the building but would have never thought of incorporating them into the landscape.

Your pictures are awesome and I am SO jealous. Did you hire a landscaper or did you figure all of that out on your own? I hope to have some fruit trees and a garden but I never even envisioned anything of that magnitude (and we have 40 acres). You have given me some great ideas. I may be hitting you up for advice in the spring!

    Wow!
Love that you are always thinking of others; allowing the passerby to pluck berries.
We have a stroll in town that my 4yr old begs to do simply because we pass by a mullberry tree. She is aways purple when we come home!

Looks great!!! Wish I was able to plan things like that, I guess I just have no "vision" when it comes to landscaping. I'll just enjoy your photos!!
