My first name is Jeanine but in high school friends called me neener. 130 is a weight I'll never see again!!!! Derketchup I read the whole thread looking for your post!!!! What does DERKETCHUP mean!!!! :shrug7: I've been trying to figure it out forever!!!!!

Mine... My ds2's nickname is Schwoom. I should have called myself MisterSchwoomsMom, 'cause ds1's nickname is Mister, but I wasn't all together at the time... LOL

When I first found this site last fall, I just kept saying, "what a great idea... what a great idea!!!!!"

So that's why I am "gr8Idea." It's a compliment and a nod to the whole concept of this site.... a great idea!

well you asked soheres my answer, im sure youll find it weird or semi amusing. first off im a online mmo gamer (a high five to any others who read this) and one of my characters is named "pink got nerfed". the thing of it is when i originally created her i named her "pink soft wet" as a joke with my boyfriend. apparently the makers of the game found it too risque and gave me a 3 day ban from the game and made me change her name:hence the "pink got nerfed". for those of you not in the know, *winks*to nerf is a gaming term refering to a change made because something was too strong,etc. so yes now that everyone thinks im a huge nerd.....lol....go me! btw my real first name is salina

Mine was a mistake in German class. We were introducing each other, and this guy was supposed to introduce me by saying "Das ist die Katja" (Katja being my "German name" pronounced like Caught Ya real fast). Well, the idiot says "uhh... Das is der Ketchup".

So not only did he call me ketchup, he also called me MALE. :shrug7: His "German name" was Helmut, and his friend's name was Axel... they named themselves after heavy metal bands.

And it stuck. "Hey derketchup, how are you? You going to the party tonight, derketchup?"

I believe, 1x year they allow you to change your name if situations have changed. It does not affect anything, so long as you do it in the time frame. They even put a "formerly known as ___" under your new name for a while, until it's known who ya are!!

It's great reading thru this thread. Most screennames are pretty self explanatory, but there are a few that really stumped me... How many of you read license plates trying to figure out what they mean?? It's kinda the same thing... for the longest, I also thought mama had 22 quarts, until I stopped to read it by each letter, and realized it was to 2 cuties... like back in highschool, when everyone wanted to be known by qt... 'cause you just thought you were the stuff!!!

I've always wondered about a few of ya, bug was one too...

I was known as 'lil bit, shorty, squirt, 'lil one, and short stuff when I was a kid... I wonder if it's because I'm short?? (I'm 5ft on a GOOD day...)


So I tried to stay away from anything that would mention how vertically challenged I am... and went to my little one... feelin' kinda bad I left my ds1 out... I used this sn at the last couponing site I was at, and I wanted to use the same one here, incase I ran into anyone from there...

What's funny, is most people spell it wrong... scwooms or shwooms or something to that effect... it's pronounced shh wombs mom (b is silent!!!)

Hehehe. The letters I mention are all acronyms for MMORPGs. EverQuest, World of Warcraft, GuildWars, AnarchyOnline....

Okay, mine is kinda self explanatory too. Though I do see a lot of other momma ducks out there, I really have not done much posting until this site. So if you see another, it probably isn't me. Well, the real story behind the name is my DS and I both have webbed toes. A friend gave me the nickname of Duck in college, her kids call me Auntie Duck and now that I have DS with webbies, I am MommaDuck. I used 01 since he was born in 01.

We need some more duck 'smilies' here!

*whew* I just finished reading alllllllllllllllllll of the posts in this thread for the past two years! Wow! Really enjoyed it all, especially DERKETCHUP's story! Too funny.

My DH came up with this moniker years ago when we first got email. His name is Tim, mine is Rebecca (Bec) and together we are "timbectwo" (instead of Timbuktu). I think it's kinda clever of him.
