New Update More Good News!

So several people have asked so here is a great update. The trek was taken out at the start of this week and she is down to just wearing oxgyne. She was also able to go outside for the first time since this all happened. She was only able to sit outside for about 30 minutes as she has a pinched nerve in her back so sitting is hard. They are going to give her steriods for that. She is also doing physical therapy and today she was able to walk 3 times, once for 2 ft, once for 4 ft and then another for 6ft. She is still very weak but progressing almost everyday. The first week of August she will be going to a physical rehab center which she will only be there for hopefully 30-45 days. The nice part about rehab will be she will be moved to a facility that is about 5 miles from me. Once she is out of rehab she should be well on her way. There is a chance she will need outpatient rehab afterwards but that is something we will deal with then.

I want to take this moment to thank each and everyone of you who has prayed for her. I also want to thank all of those who have sent her get well cards. I did try to get feedback for everyone but if I missed you PLEASE pm me and I will correct that.

having been in a similar situation this year myself, your family is definately in my prayers...

in april, i was the mom on a vent with a teen that wasn't coping well.... i will make sure that your lil sis gets extra prayers...

i am happy that your Mom is up and moving about some.... this is a good sign.... will continue to pray for all of you....
