Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Today while registering the dog at the village hall, Elyse (3) first announced her brother, and began her usual carrying on about him. Today it included "my brother eats boobs."

Ok, this isn't really a saying, as my DD is onlt 6 months, but this cracked me up like I could not believe. Had to call my mom to share the moment.

I was holding my daughter, and happened to burp and say scuse me. And she started cracking up. So I pretended to burp again and say scuse me. Even more laughing. I think this went on for like 20 minutes with me finally just being able to say scuse me, or scuse you, and she would roll with glee.

I asked my 3-yr old son where his cute little butt came from. He said, "From the butt store." As far as he's concerned, anything can be had from the store if you look down the aisle long enough.

The Butt Store makes me laugh every time.

OK, tonight, we drove past a place they are clearing to make room for a wal-mart supercenter and I pointed it out to the oldest and told him what was going in.
The 4 year old goes "WELL! When I grow up, I will NEVER, EVER shop at Wal Mart!" and I said "Why is that?" and he gave me that look that kids give their parents and says "Coz they don't give you coupons there!"

My 6yr old son Derek needed some snacks for school .So I went an got snack crackers while he was at school today.When I told him I got snack crackers for snack .His reply was did you have a coupon.I said NO.He then replyed: TAKE THEM BACK.I almost fell out of my computer chair I was laughing so hard.

This happened a few years ago. My sister is over weight. She is constantly talking about going on a diet. She'll diet for a while and then stop. My dd (forget how old she was) seen a commerical for slim fast on tv. It said lose weight fast. She told my sister "Auntie you should get that to lose weight".

LOL...that reminds me of my cousin. When her little brother was born she asked where babies come from. My aunt was at a loss for words so she told her she bought her! She said there was a store where you could go and pick your baby just as you would a Cabage Patch doll.

Anytime someone would come and see the new baby she would tell them that her mom bought him at the store in the Cabage Patch isle! :P

My Neice is five and said the funniest thing. Her grams fell at church and had to go to the hospital. When I asked her what had happen. She looked me in the eye and said "The church fell on her" I couldn't help but laugh and everyone in the ER laughed as well it really eased the tension.

yesterday in the car, DS#1's hand had fallen asleep. He told me his hand had 'threads and needles' lol when I know he really meant pins and needles.
