| Re: Kids Say the Darndest Things! Now that the weather has been nicer, DF and I have been taking my dog to the dog park. He just loves it there. A few weekends ago we took DF's 4 year old son with us. As we were walking around, he kept asking, "Krystle, what is that smell?" I kept saying I didn't know, because I had no clue what smell he was talking about. Finally after about the tenth time he asked me, I asked him what he thought it was...
He YELLED: "Krystle, it smells like dog sh*t!"
I couldn't even tell him he isn't supposed to say that word because I was laughing so hard. |

| Re: Kids Say the Darndest Things! It started to rain real heavy last night, so heavy that you couldnt see the backyard, and my daughte was crying because one of the cats were still outside and she said to me "mummy, cats are allergic to rain, please go get him!"

| Re: Kids Say the Darndest Things! ....As the mother o' five, this is actually one of my fav' topics...but I'll just share my favorite story. When my DD was 4 my MIL used to share baths. Once, she was having a discussion with MIL about breasts.
DD asked, "So Granny," she began, pointing at my MILs chest, "Do you call those breasts or pivates?"
My MIL replied, "Either, Baby, which ever you're more comfortable with...why?". DD answered, "'cuz some ppl call 'em breasts and some ppl call 'em privates"
MIL "oh"
DD "Hey Granny"
MIL "yes, baby"
DD, pointing again at my MIL's chest "why are yours so long?"
....
needless to say...that was their last shared bath. |

| Re: Kids Say the Darndest Things! Back when we had nonstop rain for a week, DF's 4yo son was over for the weekend. He usually goes outside with me when I take my dog for a walk. I abhor rain because it brings out the worms, and I think they stink. While we were walking around, I nonchalantly told his son to "watch out for those nasty worms!"
Now, the last weekend he was over, I had to take my dog out and it had just got done raining. His son didn't want to come with me, but he cautioned in the sweetest most sincere voice, "Krystle, please make sure you watch out for those nasty worms. I don't want you to step on them." So cute! |

| Re: Kids Say the Darndest Things! So, on Friday, my son's grade had an all-day field trip to Mackinac Island. After we left the island, we went to an indoor water park for the afternoon. On our way home, Spencer told that he had been in the water for so long that he wouldn't need to shower for several days. Spoken like a true 12 year old boy.
