The day after the election DD who is 3 says "Barack Obama runs fast" I was confused so I asked her what do you mean. She says Barack Obama won the race so he runs fast.." That one tickled me soo..

Then a teacher at my school was teaching about the presidents for presidents day and student said no Barack Obama cant be president hes not dead you have to be dead to be president cause we saw all the graves of the presidents when we went to Washington DC..(kindergartener)

Then just recently my youngest DD was in the hopsital and older DD was at gmas house and wanted to talk to DD. I put the phone to her ear and I can hear Older DD say, Hello, HI, HIIII, Say something DD, Say some---thing!! That made me giggle too.

Now that the weather has been nicer, DF and I have been taking my dog to the dog park. He just loves it there. A few weekends ago we took DF's 4 year old son with us. As we were walking around, he kept asking, "Krystle, what is that smell?" I kept saying I didn't know, because I had no clue what smell he was talking about. Finally after about the tenth time he asked me, I asked him what he thought it was...

He YELLED: "Krystle, it smells like dog sh*t!"

I couldn't even tell him he isn't supposed to say that word because I was laughing so hard.

I guess my ds (4.5yr old) has been talking to kids at daycare again about the Disney channel because I know he didn't learn about this at home. He asked me the other day...."mom, do you know that song Best of Both Worlds?" I don't have any girls and don't keep up with tween/teen girl stuff, so I didn't have a clue at the time what he was talking about, so of course I said no. He then proceeded to tell me that it was a "Hannah Tana" song and that all girls liked it, so I should too. LOL!

It started to rain real heavy last night, so heavy that you couldnt see the backyard, and my daughte was crying because one of the cats were still outside and she said to me "mummy, cats are allergic to rain, please go get him!"

Last night I was upset about something and started going off about it.

My little sweetheart said, "Mommy, stupid and dumb are not nice words. We don't say things like that... and sucks! Sucks is not a nice word. It's a bad word. You have to keep that word far from your heart. Keep it very far. And don't let it in your heart because if it gets in your heart it will break it." Aww...

We said, "You preach it baby. Are you going to be a preacher when you grow up?"
He said, "Yup. That's why I'm going to preach-school!" (preschool)

Aww... I love him...

....As the mother o' five, this is actually one of my fav' topics...but I'll just share my favorite story. When my DD was 4 my MIL used to share baths. Once, she was having a discussion with MIL about breasts.
DD asked, "So Granny," she began, pointing at my MILs chest, "Do you call those breasts or pivates?"
My MIL replied, "Either, Baby, which ever you're more comfortable with...why?". DD answered, "'cuz some ppl call 'em breasts and some ppl call 'em privates"
MIL "oh"
DD "Hey Granny"
MIL "yes, baby"
DD, pointing again at my MIL's chest "why are yours so long?"
....
needless to say...that was their last shared bath.

That last one is just.. PRICELESS. ROFL.

Now for the favorite one of out my DD7's mouth.

I had accidentally left a book in the bathroom, and I told my DD to go get it for me. So she play stomps ALL through the house, and on her way back while stomping she goes ( btw I was laying in bed and eating cookies ) " MOM, BOOKS DON'T BELONG IN THE BATHROOM! I'M TAKIN A COOKIE!" So she grabs the cookie and stomps off. It was so hilarious!

Second most awesome thing: I got off conversation about her best friend or something and she says right back to me " Mom, what does that have to do with the price of tea in China??" I KNEW I was teaching my kid to be sarcastic. :D

Back when we had nonstop rain for a week, DF's 4yo son was over for the weekend. He usually goes outside with me when I take my dog for a walk. I abhor rain because it brings out the worms, and I think they stink. While we were walking around, I nonchalantly told his son to "watch out for those nasty worms!"

Now, the last weekend he was over, I had to take my dog out and it had just got done raining. His son didn't want to come with me, but he cautioned in the sweetest most sincere voice, "Krystle, please make sure you watch out for those nasty worms. I don't want you to step on them." So cute!

So, on Friday, my son's grade had an all-day field trip to Mackinac Island. After we left the island, we went to an indoor water park for the afternoon. On our way home, Spencer told that he had been in the water for so long that he wouldn't need to shower for several days. Spoken like a true 12 year old boy.

when I was preggers with the last baby, my DD (who had followed me to the bathroom....again) stopped mid sentence to tell me that it looked like my "tushie was getting to big for the potty" and that we'd have to get a new one.
