I did this because I did not want to buy all my Adidas deodorants at one time.

    1 Adidas 4.99
    1 Aquafresh 2.99
    1 Colgate 360 3.99

    Total 11.97

    Minus 5 ECBs
4.99 Adidas q from All You Mag
    1.00 Colgate 360 q
1.00 Aqua Fresh Q(5/4 inserts or IP)

    OOP .40 earn 11.97 ECBs

Did my Sunday morning trip today- where htlgrl drives to all the CVS's in town to pick up as many Globes as can be found....since I can then pay for them with ECBs

Today, only found 2 total out of 4 CVS's, so I ended up picking up some at the corner store-:shrug7:

    So here's what I did:
9.99 Venus Embrace razor (chosen for the 2 refills instead of just 1)
    3.99 Whitman's Sampler
    3.98 (2x nail glue)
    total before q's- $17.96
    -3/15
-$4 MFC Venus in today's PG
-$2 CVS Venus q- found in coupon basket at store
    -$2 Whitman's sampler
total after q's- 6.96, used $4.99 ECB, paid 1.97 + tax on GC got back $10 in ECB

    Store 2:
    $5 Boston Globe x2
    $3.99 Whitman
    $4.99 Adidas
$2.99 Conair hair accessories pack (I've been looking for a deal on these!)
    total before q's- 16.97
    -3/15
    -$2 whitman
    -$4.99 adidas
total after q's- 6.98, used one $5 ECB, paid 1.98 + tax on GC, got back $4.99 ECB.

So, all in all, paid a bit more than $4 oop, walked out with $5 more ECB then I went in with, and STILL paid less total than the cost of 2 papers!

Are these on 2 different cards? Is the Adidas Limit 3? or Limit 5? In your scenerio you are getting 5. Just want to make sure it is not limit 5 because I will need to rework my scenerios to add more. :)

Here's my scenario....assuming they have all the items I want at the same store!

    $21.98 2 Nexxus products
    $7.98 2 - 3.5# bags of Purina cat chow
    $4.99 1 Adidas deodorant
    $3.98 2 nail glues
    $11.98 2 olay body washes
    total = $50.91

    -$10/$50
    -$8.00 - Purina (2 coupons)
    -$4.99 - Adidas coupon
    -$1.00 - Olay coupon
-$2.00 (2 Nexxus CVS printables...also for Sally Hansen, Christophe, etc.)

    Total - $24.92
Pay with $23 in ecbs, pay $1.xx oop. Get back $25 in ecbs.

Does this look correct? Anyone have any ideas to make it a sweeter deal? I really only have $10/50 crts (as far as $xx/$xx), so that's what I usually base my scenarios on.

Another thing- not all coupon inserts are created equal! That's why I buy the Boston Globe (biggest paper in my area) instead of *local paper*. The difference is most apparent in the Red Plum inserts, or at least in my experience!

I use ECB's to pick up the papers every week, as well as the special city garbage bags that we need to use that cost 7.50 for 10 small bags. Using the ECBs saves me at least $50 per month on just these expenses!
