EXACT same thing happened to me. It took forever for me to get my $4 back. I ended up getting $4.80 back in cash and the manager just said "take it, don't ask what I did b/c I had to go around the world to figure it out." i felt bad and was apologizing the whole time. If it had just not taken the $2 off I would have let it go, but b/c they charged me $2 extra for merchandise i didn't get I had to go back in to get my money back.

I bought a 12 oz softsoap today and was not even close to my limit of 5 (this was my first 12 oz this month) and I did not get any softsoap ecbs. I was hoping it would have been a really good deal: had the $1 q from the paper plus a $2 ECB from last week. I kind of left scratching my head :shrug7:Anyone know what I did wrong? I did buy some 18 oz Spa Radiance earlier this month but am not at my limit there yet either.

I did still make out:
1 softsoap @ 97 cents - 37 cent q
2 palmolive @ 1.59 - 25 cent q (this was the bogo deal)
2 All @ 6.49 - $1 q (this is also a bogo deal)
1 12 oz softsoap bath @ 2.99 - $1 q
1 essance of beauty $4.99 (no q)

my total oop was $1.71
total saved $25.90

Gotta go find some more of those softsoap q's to print now -- I know this will work somehow!

Did you get the softsoap **SPA**? Only the SPA works for the free after ecb deal.

If you bought the right Softsoap, it should have been more than $2.99. Only the Spa one works. One is blue, and one is purple.

Of course I bought the wrong one!!! Oh well, live and learn. Now if only any stores will have any of those IN STOCK! I can try again tomorrow.

Personally I would take this one back and have them refund it for you, then buy the correct one. But that is just me :-)

Still working as of yesterday afternoon...it's an April Monthly deal so it should work through Wednesday. I did this deal 2 times on one card and once on a second card yesterday.

Deals 2 and 3 were basically the same except the other clerk put in the $8.29 as the free amount. Oh well...still an awesome deal!
And I was able to roll $18 worth of ECBs that were set to expire this week!
