DEAD:APRIL 2008: Monthly ECB Book

I got 3 today and got like an 16.98 ecb. When I tried to use this ecb at another store it wouldn't take it. The manager had to over ride it and when I got my reciept it wasn't on the bottom anywhere where it was on my previous receipt. It had the 4.99 softsoap limit reached and another softsoap where it showed I had done 3 for the 5.49 one but on my new receipt it was like it disappeared. Do you think it may not have updated yet at the 2nd store?

In my area the EOB bags were pulled from the shelf because they thought it was too good of a deal and CVS didn't mean for it to work like that so they were put up in the back until this deal is over, but if you ask they will tell you they are out. We have a few bags sitting around in the beauty section and they even took a black marker & marked through the barcode on them!!!

I did find a few lip glosses on clearance that had not been marked through and was able to get them & they worked.

Can anyone post a pic of the EOB Gift Bags you have purchased? I am looking for them, but have not found any. I do see plenty of the gift bags for the greeting card companies, but no EOB.

A pic would be great!!!

Yes, I've seen on other boards the 18 oz is giving ECBS for full price (5.49). My store was stocked on Friday and better be on Monday!!!!

Limit seems to be 4 or 5.

it seems that some store managers have a "habit" of putting the REALLY good ECB deals away in the back. Sat I stopped in at one of my 5 stores on the Soaft Soap Spa that was also on the starting Sun ad. NONE out. Went to mgr and told him point blank that this was consumer fraud NOT to have ANY of a sale item available before the ad even broke and I was contacting our State Attorney General (a VERY consumer oriented woman).

He "found" 2 in the back. This happens constantly at WAGs too. I HATE to waste extra time finding and asking store employees but if this is what it takes I will do so AND I will file complaints w/ corp customer service about how poorly store shelves are stocked and how poorly managers manage. Maybe then we can get the stuff on the first day of the ads.
