Will the monthly toothpaste deal not work tomorrow?

I was going to go ahead and do my monthly deals for March tomorrow (3/1) but I realized that with the toothpaste ringing up at $2.50 because of the weekly ad, that the ECBs probably wouldn't print for it?

Don't do it. I already tried it and it didn't work. I thought for sure it would, so it made me sad.

Are you sure you bought the right one? I looked for it today at 2 stores and neither of them even had it. I've heard that others bought it today and it worked, so maybe your stores don't have the 4.0 oz one either.

I bought Colgate Advanced Clean with Whitening 4oz (looked exactly like the one pictured in March offer) today. It was $2.50, but did not produce ECB.

OK I looked at the ad wrong, the toothpaste that is 2/$5 is different than the one that is free after ECBs so it should be ok, I'll pricecheck first though.

Be very careful choosing the right toothpaste. The deal is working now, but on the endcap display at my store, they had some of the wrong kind mixed with the right ones.

The one you want is Colgate Total Advanced Whitening 4oz. It says "new" in the upper left hand corner of the box.

The ones I grabbed that were wrong are Colgate Total Advanced Clean plus Whitening 4oz.

They look very similar. Make sure they say "new" on the box, hopefully that helps.

Me and my sister tryed this today and didn't get the ecb. the ad says 4.0oz but we picked up 4.2 for 2.50..the manager gave money back to my sister and priced mine as zero because him and us both thought the deal was this week..it doesn't start tomorrow i heard :( so we are able to go back tomorrow and get more toothpaste because it didn't register on our card :)
