Oi... So Sunday I was out shopping and at one CVS the shift supervisor was telling customers that used extra bucks that the program was going to be discontinued.. That they have already started the process in the computer for it... She was saying how much money they were losing on it, etc. I expressed to her that in fact, CVS was not losing money becuase they were manufacturer backed.. She proceeded to tell me how wrong I was.. Sadly it turned into a "yes they do, no they dont, yes they do, no they dont"... so anyways, since I was 90% sure I was right I called CVS yesterday (not the ECB area) and spoke to someone. She said that girl was wrong on both counts. I made sure she agreed to call and make sure that girl was correctly informed. THIS is how rumors get started!!! I cant imagine how many people she told that to that are off thinking all this stuff now! If im not mistaken this same girl has made up other rules in the past. I think about 4 or 5 months ago when I went to use a 4/20 she said that it was corporate rules that it could only be used if the AFTER coupon total was at least 20 dollars.

Oh well. Hopefully she will learn to speak the truth from now on.

Well thank you everyone for quite a laugh.... Now whats this non sense about after june no more ecb's??? WIth out cvs ecb's i don't think i can go on with my life.............................................. .......................

Even with ECBs I seldom shop at CVS.

They do not have stock, the shelf markers are ALWAYS out of date if placed at all and their prices even w/ sales & ECBs are equal to or higher than my other options.

Add in all the hassle w/ coupons & I am OUT of the store.

With all the problems you state here, I can see why you seldom shop at CVS.

So what stores do you shop and do you post on those threads?

I'd like to follow up and see how you are doing at these other stores. I love to get a good deal and I go on the hunt at least twice a week.
