I highly doubt it. SOOOOOOO many people shop at CVS only because of the ECB (including people that don't even use coupons!) I heard once that CVS was voted the top pharmacy in the US. For them to pull the ECB would be crazy. Why would anyone shop at cvs then?? Not for the prices, I guarantee! And with Walmart announcing the "price drop" of generics, pharmacies are going to have to make money somewhere to keep up with the bigger stores.
It would seem like bad business practice to discontinue what put cvs on the map!

When I used to work for Wells Fargo rumors would circulate twice a year about how Bank of America was going to buy us out.

Obviously it hasn't happened yet.

I'm sorry they can't make people pay them back for their lack of enforcement of their coupons, if it says 1 per customer, and they used their extra care card, then they computer should just not let them use another coupon, it is not the customers fault, I don't shop at CVS, I dont have one anymore, but didn't when i had one, I'm a Walgreens girl!

I have just learned from a cashier at CVS that the extrabucks program will be discontinued starting early June. I was told that customers have been taking advantage of the program and they basically called it theft. I was also told that they have records of who used "copies" of the same coupon. She said that on the coupon itself it says "Limit one per customer" ($4 off of $20) So when someone uses the same coupon twice they have a record and are going to ask that the customer to pay back all the money. These type of coupons are printed online and have a specific item number on them and by using your extra care card they know who you are and where to send the bill to.

I originally tried to be nice and just show a little sarcasim..But heck, I should have let it out..This did crack me up...Is that why they added the video cameras...To get us on tape?...I need to start doing my makeup before I go shopping..So when my photo is taken for my mug shot I look presentable...
