oh well lost about 47 cents. i will make sure to game it in the future

Hi, been CVSing for almost 2 months, and I've yet to see any X off XX coupons, and it's really frustrating. I know that I have signed up with the CVS extra care site, but I receive nothing in my email, and it's been a month since I sign up. Also, my receipt never prints any X off XX CRTs, or any other CRTs for that matter. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

2 day sales and 3 day sales are ONLY good on those 2 or 3 days.

the prices will probably start, but the extra care bucks will NOT print.

that is my result from 3 years experience. now that there is an event code, people whose stores are lovely nice may get a cashier who will print them, but they will not print by themselves.

i wouldn't even ask, since i'd rather not see this at the register.

I'm a newbie & very confused by the ECB program!

I want to buy the $9.99 Revlon make-up they have the $9.99 ECB points (or whatever you call them) on this week, which makes it free.

My confusion is to do with when I will receive my points. The CVS website says they are calculated every 3 months & print on your receipt. My questions are:

1. Does every 3 months mean March, June, September, & December (or a similar variation) for everyone, or does it mean every 3 months from the time you signed up for your CVS card? (As in, I sign up for the card today, in August, and I get my points in November, 3 months from now?)

2. Do I have to go back within three months (however that is determined, per question 1) & buy something, just to get the points to print on my receipt?

It seems so much more difficult than the programs at Walgreens & Rite Aid!

i started doing cvs deals about a month ago.
it used to deduct the tax when giving ecb, it seems they no longer to this.
I bought two items last night, both taxable. one was a cvs toothbrush that was free from the august free item coupon.
another i basically used ecb and a 4 off 20.
total charges were 19.99 and 1.99
the free toothrbruch coupon took off 1.99, i gave the 4/20 first. then i had bunch of 3, 4, 5 ecb.
towards the end i had a subtotal of 1.99 and a ca tax at 9.5% at 1.71 for total oop of 3.70

ecb no longer pays for tax?

That's correct. ECBs are now ringing in as "CVS Manufacturer coupons" and the register treats them, with regard to sales tax, as if they are manufacturer's coupons rather than store coupons. For many states, a store coupon is considered to be the equivalent of a sale -- and hence the sales tax on the amount is eliminated BUT a manufacturer coupon is considered a form of payment (just like a check or cash etc) and therefore it will not reduce your taxable amount. I'm guessing CA is one of those states and that is why you are paying sales tax.

Note, however, that your $4/$20 coupon and your free cvs toothbrush coupon is considered a store coupon.

technically they are not treating this as "cash/check"
the 20 dollar item i bought was FSA eligible. the bottom receipt only showed 3.70 as FSA eligible. i'm getting ripped off in terms of not being able to claim the full amount--w/o major hassle/explanation to the fsa company...

my 18 year old daughter lives with me, & on the offers it says 1 per household. do they enforce this by address? - She would like to get a card for herself to do the deals, which I do as well. I would think she should be able to since she buys her own things??
