Re: CVS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)-- Updated and Improved! The rainchecks are supposed to be issued when the item is not in stock. They never expire, and are good at any CVS (it's printed right on the form), so I don't get the "you could travel" thing... you're supposed to be able to.
If there are ECBs, they are supposed to write the event code on the raincheck. That way, when you redeem it, they punch in the code and it generates the ECBs.
Cashiers have been known to make things up.
