i love my CVS store in Davidson, NC. However they are under the impression that in order to use the $5 off $20 it has to be the total amt. once all coupons are used. not sure what to do about this. i had the same problem elsewhere but they were not nice anyways. they thought i was trying to pull a fast one on them. want to keep shopping at CVS...

Can a manager make a decision to not take coupons on clearance? I see in the first page that they do take them and I know that.

I went round and round today trying to explain how to enter them and I was told they won't get paid and they aren't doing it.

Bengay patches were marked down to $2, I had $2 coupons and they wouldn't let me use them so I just voided them off.

I have a question I didn't see in this thread, apologies if it's been answered elsewhere.

If there's an ECB deal like "Buy $20 worth of Neutrogena get $5 ECBs", would clearanced items count toward that $20? Does it make a difference if all items or only some of them are clearance?

If they are marked with a black mark through the upc and entered as taxable at the register no they will not. If they are just marked down but scan as xyz item and a discount at the register, yes they will.

Taking coupons off clearance items is my favorite thing to do at CVS. I like getting a $9 eyeliner for 23¢.

I did a search and couldn't find the answer to my question, so please forgive me if this is a repeat. I used to get $x/$xx crt's all of the time and then they just stopped. I've linked my card up to the website and get random emails about deals they have online, but I haven't received any $x/$xx email coupons, except for some holidays. What am I missing - anything else I need to do? My weekly oop used to be so much less with these!

Actually you can use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale making the 2 items free.

I am very new to couponing and have found alot of useful info on this site! ( Thanks!!) But, I have been looking on the forums to an answer to this question. How do you use a BOGO coupon on an item that is already BOGO? How does is ring up/price out?

For example, my CVS has Purex laundry detergent on sale Buy One Get One Free and I also have a manufacturer's coupon for Purex Buy One Get One Free. Would both items be free?

I was able to get 6 bottles of Purex FREE w/ a BOGO sale + BOGO q a couple of weeks ago - it may be a YMMV thing though.... all you can do is ask, and if you get the "wrong" answer, ask to dbl ck w/ the mgr, saying," a friend of mine did this....."

I didn't realize there were more BOGO Purex cpns out there - mine exp 3/4/10.... I would LOVE to get more of my favorite deterg for free!!!
