Rainchecks and future ECB deals

Let's say I have a raincheck for item with RC price $2.00, no ECBs. Few weeks later same item is part of ECB deal: buy $20 get $10, but item advertised on sale for $4 (so you buy 5 and get $10ECB).

Question: with my raincheck will I be able to get 10 X $2 and get $10 ECB? Right?

It would depend on the limit on the rc - you might not be able to get 10 at the rc price.

I've wondered this.

If I can, do you mind if I add another couple raincheck questions and maybe we can get all of them answered?

1) Are there limits on the number of items on your raincheck, or can you get 10 as in your scenario above...

2) And let's say there's a limit of 10 on the raincheck. Do all ten have to be purchased at the same time?

2a) Can I purchase 5 on my CVS card and 5 on my husband's CVS card with one
raincheck for 10?

2b) If my store only has 5 in stock, can I get those 5 (or lesser quantity) and
have a new raincheck written for the remaining 5?

1) Are there limits on the number of items on your raincheck, or can you get 10 as in your scenario above...A) yes, the limit is whatever the limit was when the r/c was written. The cashier should have written it down on the r/c.

A) If they have the stock in store for you to get the whold amount, yes.

A) Usually no, unless you have a super cool cashier.

2b) If my store only has 5 in stock, can I get those 5 (or lesser quantity) and
have a new raincheck written for the remaining 5?
A) Going back to #2, yes. If they don't have enough stock to cover the limit amount on your r/c, you can ask them to write a another one for the difference.
