    HELP CVS Cash Question

Sorry if this is posted somewhere and I have overlooked it, but can someone please explain the rules to me on the CVS Cash I see in the flyiers? I asked the cashier about it tonight and she didn't seem to know. She just kept saying purchase $30.00 worth of qualifying product and get a print out for $10. Of course my brain came up with alot of questions that she couldn't answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Hugs,

Whenever you spend $30 on qualifying products, you will get a coupon printout on the bottom of your receipt that the cashier in turn will use it to activate a $10 CVS Cash Card (its like a GC, but you can only use it to make purchases at CVS) The limit is 5 Cash Cards during the sales week. You don't have to purchase the $30 at once, you can spread it out over the week, it keeps track on the bottom of your receipt. If you buy $60 worth, the coupon will print for $20 and that is the amount the cashier will load to the card. Also, the $30 is before coupons are deducted. So if you buy Nabisco Crackers that are 2/$5, and use a $1 off coupon to pay $4, $5 is what will track.

One last thing, the $30 does not carry over from week to week. Meaning if your tracking balance is $25, and you don't purchase another $5 by closing time on Saturday night, you will loose that $25. Each week starts over anew, as different products are on highlighted for the Cash Card deal.

Thanks so much! I wondered if they rolled over or started anew each week. The cashier didn't have a clue. I noticed them tonight when I was purchasing cokes. It said limit 4 so I asked the cashier how I could purchase $30.00 worth if I could only purchase 4. I asked if I could come back tomorrow and purchase 4 more packs and get another $10.00 credited towards the $30.00 and she said no that I had to spread it out over the remaining items going including in the $30.00 event for the week. Thoghts?

    scrogg,

Yesterday, I went to three different CVSs and bought four packs each. Got the $10 CC on that last transaction. So you can get it by just buying the Coke. You just have to break it up into 3 transactions. If you only have 1 CVS, just go at three different times.

scrogg - the limit on the Coke is 4 per transaction. The 5th one will ring at regular price. Some stores will limit you to 4 per person/per week though. My parents did 3 transactions at 2 stores. My mom bought 4 cokes, then my dad bought 4 diet, $20 counted towards the deal. Then at the 2nd store they went to, my mom bought 4 more and the coupon printed for the $10 Cash Card.
