    HOT Manager at local CVS

I just posted this on CVS' website and will be writing Corporate as well. I'm shocked and appalled that someone could be so crude and just plain ignorant.

I just went to the store located 6401 Precinct Line Rd in Texas and tried to use my $10 CVS GC's to purchase a Visa GC. They had told me last Saturday that I could because they were out of the Visa cards at the time. Well, for some reason it wasn't working and the manager said that whoever told me that was wrong and that it was "physically impossible" for him to do that. He began to ask me who the cashier last Saturday was and asked "was it a real thin lady (hand gesture to show someone not very wide) or a big lady (hand gesture to show someone large), 'cause we have one thin lady and two big girls. Well, actually, one's big and ones REAL big (hand gesture extra wide)."

I was appalled and didn't even know what to say. I told him the lady wasn't fat but wasn't thin and that I found the entire exchange repulsive and inappropriate. To which he glared at me, eyes bugging out and said "WHAT?" and I said "describing someone like that, is really inappropriate!" then I said "I am not happy, this is NOT what I wanted -- (thinking to myself: like I want to spend ANY more money at CVS with employees like that!!)" and he interrupted me saying "I know, I just cannot do it, I will literally lose my job if I try and that's why I want to know who told you it was ok -- the big one or the little one. I'm going to talk to her tonight and let her know (sounding like she'd be severely disciplined)"....I just sat there, appalled, and unsure what to say and I finally managed to stammer that I wasn't going to continue the conversation with him and left. I hope someone from Corporate views this and investigates this man and his tasteless actions and absolutely appalling verbiage used to describe fellow coworkers. And I hope that the cashier reads this and files a formal complaint with management/Corporate!!! I will NOT be going back to this store. That is INSANE.

I am so proud of you for reporting him. That is truly disgusting for him to talk about people like that. What an A-hole. You should have asked him if when you reported him to corporate if you should refer to him as the guy with the really tiny penis in his pants or the really large penis on his shoulders???

Oh my word, needed that laugh!!! I was so shocked, I didn't know what to say. I'm irritated that the CVS customer care form cut off half my email -- but I made sure to let them know that I posted it on their Facebook wall, too!

I guess I could, I just HATE being on the phone and it kind of seems like overkill. Would that be an 'overreaction'?

    Default Manager at local CVS

When I had a serious (to me) complaint with another store, I got no response at all with emails. I got very satisfactory results with a phone call, though. I think emails are often just dismissed or at best get canned "Thanks for your input. We value our customers and strive to provide excellent service blah blah blah" responses.

I had a manager describe me as "skinny blonde girl with big Serena Williams arms".

I called corporate immediately while still in the store. He couldn't figure out why I was offended.

Yes, I work out. Yes, I have very muscular arms. No, I do not need you referring to my arms as "Serena Williams" arms. You could have said "muscular build" or something. Just plain old unacceptable.

He shouldn't have described any of them like that. I am offended at the "real thin" comment as much as the "REAL big" comment.
