I was able to get everything done in one transaction yesterday, mostly because I didn't need much of CVS's sale/ecb offers this week. But here's my first brag...
1 Zegerid OTC 42ct @ $24.99 ($6.00/1 Q) earned 8 ECBs
1 Physicians Formula Blush @ $12.49 ($1.00/1 Q) earned 7 ECBs
1 L'oreal True Match Foundation @ $10.99 ($2.00/1 Q) earned 3 ECBs
1 Kiss Everlasting Nail Kit for DD @ $5.99 ($1.00/1 Q) earned 3 ECBs
Total Value: $54.46
Gave:
20% off entire purchase printed from my Extra Care account on CVS.com
$10 off a $50 purchase catalina
The Qs I listed worth $11
Paid with my 16 ECBs from last week
Total OOP: $14.83 (before tax)
AND walked away with 21 ECBs for next week!
Bought two Craig 4.3 inch Music/Movie players at $19.98 plus two $10 ECB print at the end.
Got the Lookbook e-reader with the two $10 ECB prints.
$20 for two Craig players and a Lookbook e-reader.
I'm happy.![]()

My OOP was sort of high, $9.50, but, I got a lot for my buck.
(3) Suave body wash 3/$6
(4) Suave shampoo & conditioner 2/$4
(3) Garnier shampoo and conditioner 3/$10
(1) Colgate Optic White
(1) Colgate Optic toothbrush
Used $11 in ECB's. Used $8.25 in Q's. Used a $5 GC. (The GC was free)
Total OOP: $9.50
Received $11 in ECB's.
Although I've reached my limit on the Suave, I'm going back tomorrow for 3 more body wash with Q and ECB to give to the rescue mission.

Have Purina weight circles, dog and cat? I'll trade.
The queen of April Fools was here.
This is actually my wife's brag. After months of refusing to go to CVS she went in today and got a new card(her old card has had all her info removed). She did this in 4 transactions , her total out of pocket paid for with previously earned CVS gift cards was around 12.76 for 103ish in merchandise. That is 12% retail paid. Even less if you consider the 90% clearance christmas coals and Valentine's sucker.
She began with no ECBs, and ended with none either.

I have found that even at Dollar General, some people have an issue with others saving money. Its not your wife they are upset with, its the fact that she has figured out how they system works before they have. The unknown for some scares them, as if it is coming out of there pocket is not the point to them. At my age, a penny saved is truely a penny earned. In my pocket is way better then in a business for the long haul. To your wife, I say-- Way to GO!!
