CVS ~ Question: Price differences on Wisk between two stores?

I got a $3/$10 grocery at the scanner for both mine and my husband's cards today. So, I bought four of the Wisk at $8.99 (not $8.94 like some others mentioned) at the first store. Then I went to the other store about three miles up the same road. The Wisk there was $9.79. I didn't even notice until I was checking out and the total was a bit higher. Then I looked at the receipt and saw the huge price difference. Is this normal? I don't shop at CVS enough to know. TIA!

Not sure if it's normal, but I have seen price differences on the exact same product at 2 CVS stores in the same town.

depends on the stores, 2 stores in my area had it for one price, and the other store had it for over a dollar cheaper

I was shocked the Wisk was $10.79 at my store!

My store had the Wisk HE (grey bottle) on clearance for $6.49.....but......when I picked up 2 for the b1g1 sale, they rang regular price $8.49. Cashier would not adjust because she thought the price changed because of the sale. Got them anyways because it was a good deal and she is my favorite coupon friendly cashier.
