CVS ~ Store Coupon: $3 off "As Seen on TV" from scanner

I scanned my card in the store today and received a coupon for "$3 off any "As Seen on TV" items" One Day Only! Expires 09/03/2010". I see the Aqua Globes 2-pack (automatically waters your plants) are $2.99, so they should be free. I didn't try using the coupon today, because I was thinking that "one day only, expires 09/03/2010" meant it was only good tomorrow, but it was probably okay today - I just had a middle-age moment in the store.

They clearanced the Aquaglobes some time ago at my store. I got the can toppers (that make it like a bottle with lid) since my kids are all the time spilling their soda cans. came to like $3 after the coupon.

I got the Aqua Globes with my coupon. My husband got the "cat / dog grass" with his. Both on clearance - free with coupon.

Both DH and I got the Aqua Globes free with our coupons used them today with no problem (actually I thought today was the 3rd and didn't realize it was only the 2nd until I got home) so I guess I had a middle-age moment too.

I used mine on the topsy turvy strawberry planter on sale for $6.99.
Most of the "as seen on tv" were around that price and higher.

The cheapest items I found were the hair bump-its and the smooth away for $4.99.

My son lucked out because of this print out yesterday. We went to CVS only to look at the Pillow Pets because he's been talking about them so much lately. Well, when the $3.00 off coupon printed I took that as a sign I should buy him one. That and the fact that they only had 3 pillow pets and one was the bumble bee which is the one he wanted.

Thanks for the heads up I got a few Aqua globes, the coupon I got yesterday expired today and the one i got today expires tomorrow (sat). I got the Aqua globe and gave my $3 coupon and it was $0
